Royal Copenhagen - Flora

We proudly present unique pieces and assortments from The Royal Danish Porcelain Manufactory, Bing & Grøndahl and the Aluminia faience factory along with form-and moulding material from spring 2012.

In the Great Dining Room displays an innovative and enriching sensory table setup with a brand new service from Royal Copenhagenen – a stunning, new twist on some of the precious pieces of Flora Danica, who has been named Flora. The creator of Flora has decorated each with a unique floral motif, including iris, magnolia, rhododendron, violet, cornflower and rose. The table setup features including the centuries-old branches from the Castle Park, which grows fairytale, handmade silk flowers in the finest manner compliments the variety of blooming decorations on the new Flora pieces.

The exhibition will be on display in the beautiful cast solid rococo castle, Gavnø Castle. The exhibition will be open for visitors all through season 2012.
